Professor Howard George Henry (H.G.H.) Kearns BSc, PhD, Dip. Agric., OBE (13 May 1902 in Friern Barnet, London 〔GRO Register of Births: JUN 1902 3a 368 BARNET - Howard George H. Kearns, mmn = unknown〕 – July 1986 in Sedgemoor, Somerset 〔GRO Register of Deaths: JUL 1986 23 2096 SEDGEMOOR - Howard G. H. Kearns, DoB = 13 May 1902, age = 84〕) was a significant researcher in entomology. He was a long-time researcher at the University of Bristol and the Deputy Director of its Long Ashton Research Station.
